when are they going to add the 4th NC game? Would it be a home game against a FCS team?

Dear Lefty One,
I was informed months ago that it was going to be Mississippi Valley State, at Rynearson. Should be home opener.

Home and away games announced. Indeed, we do open with Mississippi Valley State.

Sept. 2 or 3: MVSU (1-10)
Sept. 10: at Missouri (5-7)
Sept. 17: at Charlotte (2-10)
Sept 24: Wyoming (2-10)

Some less than impressive seasons for the teams in the non-conference. Hopefully we can pick up a couple wins there...

I like this schedule. No guaranteed losses and a few that they should win. I like the opener. A chance to work out the wrinkles and get a nice W.

If the defense can be at least 10th or so in the MAC we do have a shot at a bowl.

Yes, we should have min. of two OOC wins and a max. of three.

Add say two conference wins and one can come up with say four or more Ws.

And nice games for the fans, e.g., CMU and Toledo at home.

Call me crazy, but I see 3 wins there. Screw it. I'm dreaming big. Let's beat Mizzou too. They will have a new staff and they're kind of a tire fire right now.

We'll be 15 point dogs, but they're not LSU.

This is perfect for EMU.

We get a big payday (Missouri). We get two home games (FCS team + WYO). We play the first game of a home and home series (CHAR). Two OOC home games in September.

That was a goal of EMU athletics is to get a schedule which produced some $ yet had some winnable OOC games.

I agree a great mac ooc schedule.
It would be great if could use this for home-home bball with Charlotte.

Good point. It would be nice to tie football and basketball scheduling together.

I'm hoping for home and home with Kentucky in hoops...
