Tri-State Bank sells headquarters on Main at Beale to Belz Investco GP.

Quote:Tri-State's seven-tenths of an acre fronts Beale and sits immediately west of the Hard Rock Cafe on the bustling west end of the historic entertainment district.

The property not only fronts South Main, a trolley stop stands in front of the building. The Orpheum sits on the opposite corner of Beale and Main.

And to the north, Tri-State's small parking lot fronts Peabody Place, across which stands many of Belz's signature developments such as the Peabody Place office tower.

I wonder what Belz will do with this prime piece of real estate.
I hope something architecturally (and economically) iconic can arise there.

Would make a great addition to the footprint of a Hard Rock Hotel.
If you guys haven't checked out the new addition to the orpheum, you should - beautiful and state of the art.
That corner is a classic example of what happens when the Federal Government gets involved in what should've been private commerce.

Urban renewal ........ Hah
