Wasn't this the meeting where the suppose request to build the football facilities, and other things, will be brought up or presented to the board?

I suspect we will he more facilities news by Monday next week possible. Maybe an announcement on a design team by next board meeting and a notice to proceed.
I suspect we will hear more coaching news sometime in the next two weeks.

I suspect we will be focusing on Freshman recruits now.

I suspect folks now need to keep soliciting donations and now be somewhat patient.

And over the next couple of months, don't overlook the spring legislative session which will decide how much money will be available to public educational needs (A main source for UAB undergrad financing) for the 2016-2017 fiscal year. So far, the state is still many millions below its 2008 SETF commitment for support of all public education. Will they take additional millions ($80 million last year) from the SETF revenue streams to once again prop up the General Fund?

Since the system BOT decides how much of the system's money goes to each campus each year, it could impact the amount of money the football operations folks can count on for building those treasured facilities ASAP.

I would imagine there's a surge at the end of the year. I know that I wasn't able to make mine until mid December.

I expect an update on funds today or within the next day or so.
