After Bernie suggested that Trump supporters should support him instead, because Trump said that wages were already too high, as shown in this clip...

... Trump lashed out at Bernie the only way he knows how: assaulting his character:

Quote:Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump
.@BernieSanders-who blew his campaign when he gave Hillary a pass on her e-mail crime, said that I feel wages in America are too high. Lie!
10:49 AM - 27 Dec 2015

Bernie responds:

Quote:Bernie Sanders ✔ @BernieSanders
Getting nervous that working families are catching on to whose interests he truly represents

Now this is a general election debate I would pay money to see! Hillary would play the adult in the room and decline to engage, and I'm not saying that wouldn't work, but you know Bernie ain't gonna hold back!

Quote:Donald Trump, billionaire Republican presidential frontrunner, has changed his mind about wages: Americans aren’t earning enough. He’s also not keen on Wall Street. The shift has Trump on a collision course with Democrat Bernie Sanders – while oddly agreeing with many of his points.

“Wages in are [sic] country are too low, good jobs are too few, and people have lost faith in our leaders. We need smart and strong leadership now!” Trump tweeted on Monday.

The opinion appeared to reverse what the Republican frontrunner said in November during the fourth Republican debate. Asked if he was sympathetic to the protesters demanding a $15-an-hour minimum wage, Trump said: “I can’t be.”

“[T]axes too high, wages too high, we’re not going to be able to compete against the world. I hate to say it, but we have to leave [the minimum wage] the way it is,” Trump said at the time.
“People have to go out, they have to work really hard and have to get into that upper stratum. But we cannot do this if we are going to compete with the rest of the world. We just can’t do it.”

Sanders, a senator from Vermont and self-described socialist, used those comments to criticize Trump while appearing on CBS Face the Nation on Sunday.

“This is a guy who does not want to raise minimum wage,” he said of Trump. “In fact, he has said that wages in America are too high.”

Quote:On Monday morning, Trump took to Twitter to argue that if anyone is going to poach another candidate’s supporters, it’s him.

“Strange, but I see wacko Bernie Sanders’ allies coming over to me because I’m lowering taxes, while he will double and triple them — a disaster!” Trump tweeted.

“Being called wacko by a pathological liar like Mr. Trump makes me think he is getting nervous that the American people are catching on to his pathetic policies, which include giving hundreds of billions of dollars in tax breaks to billionaires like himself while refusing to raise the $7.25 an hour minimum wage,” Sanders said in comments relayed through a spokesman.

Sanders had previously called Trump a “pathological liar,” citing his debunked claim that thousands of Muslims in New Jersey were shown on television cheering after 9/11.

In remarks at his rally Sunday night, Sanders also took aim at Trump, citing his proposals to temporarily ban all Muslims from coming into the country and to deport millions of undocumented immigrants.

“There are people out there, Donald Trump and others, who are attempting to do what demagogues have always done, and that is instead of bringing people together to address and solve the real problems that we face, what they try to do is tap the anger and the frustration that people are feeling and then divide us up,” Sanders told a crowd estimated at 3,200 people. “So we have a message to Trump and all the others out there who want to divide us up: No, we’re not going to hate Latinos, we’re not going to hate Muslims, we are going to stand together.”
Minimum wage shouldn't be 15 bucks.

But nice try, by you and that lying sack of **** Bernie, at turning this into something else and then claiming a flip flop. I don't know, may work on your stupid friends.
I cant stand Trump. He is a dick of the highest order. I also cant stand this fcker. Both of them are totally unqualified to lead America. THIS is the problem. No really quality people would dare want the job today. We are left with this sorry lot of losers.

I've heard this now a dozen times. We have, in a truly diverse- largest candidate pool in American Presidential history, 17 potential nominees from a huge variety of backgrounds.

We (the American public) have sitting Governors, sitting Senators, former Governors, former Senator(s), former House members, a world class pediatric neurologist, an accomplished ophthalmologist, Federal prosecutor(s), a billionaire from the private sector, millionaires from the private sector, former Cabinet members, former head of the RNC, former military Officers, current Military Officers, Lawyers, we even have one guy from Jersey.

So, if there's no one from this sorry lot of "losers", who's your candidate? Who do you have with the cape on waiting in the wings?

I'd love to see a couple of names out of a few people around here, these other folks must really have something going on if none of the above qualifies someone.

Well wipe that smile off your face. He was talking about Bernie.
LOL, libtards are actually trying to run with that clip? I saw it live, and instantly knew it was just a slip of the tongue.
I cant stand Donald Trump..but..Anyone that did not understand the context of his statement in regard to wages is a fcking moron.
Donald Trump may be the only human being on the planet who talks like he tweets. Or tweets like he talks.
My thoughts about minimum wage

Wages are too expensive. They should be free.
The fact is all wages -- not just the minimum wage -- are worth far less now than they were before the Reagan Revolution, while the rich and corporations have made off like bandits, reaping the profits from those productivity gains for themselves as they buy politicians, assault workers rights, ship jobs overseas and fight for free trade deals so they can pay pennies on the dollar. Sorry, but facts are facts.

American workers work harder and longer and are more productive than ever but corporate greed and their GOP enablers very effectively continue to screw the working man as corporate profits soar.

You people are getting screwed and just keep voting in the same idiot politicians for bull**** cultural reasons. Bernie actually offers solutions for the average American.
As for the minimum wage, no, it's not just teenagers. The average age is 35, and the ones I see at McDonald's during the breakfast rush seem to work plenty hard to me, but that's not going to magically catapult them into the middle class. My grandfather was a second generation immigrant, had an 8th grade education and built a middle class life working a factory job at Caterpillar with good paying wages. That America is nearly gone, and the conservatives and their greed worship is to blame.

We don't have an equitable system anymore. Bernie's right -- it's rigged.

So once you and Bernie were exposed, you think you can just morph the topic unnoticed?

OK.

So your plan to change it is to elect someone who will run what is left of our manufacturing base and any other profitable business that can leave out of the country with draconian tax increases?

I swear to God liberalism is a mental defect.

This is what makes no sense. On the one hand, left-wingers criticize businesses and investors for moving jobs overseas to get lower costs, lower taxes, and less intrusive regulations, but on the other hand their "solution" is higher costs, higher taxes, and more intrusive regulations. WTF?
They're envious, greedy, not willing to earn their own, to chicken **** to personally rob and resort to demanding a government do their stealing for them.

The minimum wage IS for entry level workers and part timers. The problem is that the politicians in Washington destroyed our manufacturing base that payed people higher wages based upon skill and longevity. Those people are now doing jobs that they are overqualified to do..in service and retail. We need to concentrate on the bringing back the skilled jobs that naturally pay the higher wage...not foisting higher wages on unskilled jobs.

We all know WTF. It is the Liberal go to. Income redistribution is their first...and always first solution to every damn problem. It is easier to steal from people and pass out cash than to really address the underlying problem. They are simply lazy thieves.
