Recruits don't care how much money we get from the AAC's TV contract. What they (and their parents) DO care about is how often we are on TV. I wonder how much our recruiters are stressing the fact that we are on TV as much as most any "Autonomy 5" school? As I recall, we were on NATIONAL ESPN and/or ABC broadcasts this season an incredible 5 times!
We need recruits that can BALL!!!

I am sure it makes a difference to a lot of recruits and their families. It's just another arrow in the sales and recruiting quiver.
that kinda suggests that players would rather play for memphis, even over natl contending P5 schools, if we'd only get the tv coverage.
As long as you can get players in the NFL and have p5 facilities to go along with coverage then we can compete with most p5 schools in recruiting. Paxton Lynch going #1 overall in the draft would boost recruiting
There is an impressive "NFL Wall" inside UofM's football complex which features the half-helmet of every NFL team along with with the names of each ex-Tiger who played for them. Every NFL team has had at least one of our players at some point and the total number of Tigers in the pros is quite large.

Pretty common concept across D1 schools, but I love the fact we finally have one. Continual additions are a great thing. Maybe we can do something cool to augment by identifying # of pro bowlers, Super Bowl participants, HOF, etc...
It's really something that a game on ESPNNews or ESPNU has started feeling like a disappointment to me now. I love it.
And the uniforms have impressed a lot of kids according to an interview CJF gave back in October. He said lots of recruits mention the uniforms and the stadium

I wish we had banners in the concourses like SMU has in their stadium.
