Well Temple got beat. Didn't watch, but it seems the game was closer than the score indicates. I guess it's not that surprising they lost when you have 3 weeks to plan for their lame offense.

I watched the game. It wasn't close. Toledo was in complete control the entire game to the point that I thought Temple may have missed the team charter to Boca.

AAC is 0-2 with USF losing to Western Kentucky.

Temple looked they were checked out for the game. QB was hurt the whole game. Its a bowl game...it meaningless. You can't make anything out about teams or conferences from a bowl game. Some have lost players and coaches, some are motivated some are not. Its just for fun.

They were screwed on the onside kick...but it is what it is.

We should beat Auburn.

Not so sure about that... we are underdogs according to Vegas and even with Auburn's struggles, they have talent on the roster. It'll be a home game for them and that offense is tough to prepare for. Plus, we lost our coach and who knows how that will affect the team...but we do have the best player on the field at the most important position....so who knows!

Don't forget Toledo was the team most of the analysts featured on ESPN were focused on as the favorite to go undefeated and make it into the playoffs. It was only after they lost their first game that Memphis got all the attention. Toledo is a good team.

Plus, we lost our coach and who knows how that will affect the team...but we do have the best player on the field at the most important position....so who knows!

Our strength, passing is Auburn's weakness. Our weakness, pass defense is Auburn's weakness. I think Dickey has them motivated and Paxton might want to show off in his final game. With Fuente gone we might take the brakes off on offense.

Those 2 potential wins get the AAC to a 2-2 bowl record. I think Cincy will beat San Diego St, UConn will beat Marshall, Tulsa will probably lose to Virginia Tech in Beamers last game, and Houston will cover the 7 pt spread against Florida State. Let's be optimistic and say they win. That would give the AAC a very respectable 5-3 bowl record.

I think Uconn gets manhandled by Marshall. They have been good for a couple of years. FSU will probably kill Houston.

The playoffs? Never heard that mentioned for Toledo. They were mentioned going undefeated and getting the access bowl.
