Now that you've had a chance to sleep on it, anyone willing to bet we'll only be an 8/9 seed at best?

It's way too early to be thinking about seeding, but no doubt the conference is going to limit UC's upside in that regard.

The selection committee has been harsh on the AAC the past couple years and I see no reason why they won't do it again this year. I saw on the game thread someone mention that we got a 4 seed when we were 26-4 in the Great Midwest. Truth is times have changed... there is a lot more bias today than there was back then at all levels (administrators, coaches, media, etc.).

No knock, but this is probably a 7-10 seed type team regardless.

Which means we will again get a tough draw in the first round (ie. Purdue) and a nearly insurmountable one in the second (ie. Michigan State, UK)

No way. If this team doesn't get a top 6 seed, I'll be shocked.

Remember SMU getting screwed two years ago and Louisville getting a 4 seed when they were ranked #4 in the nation? Committee has done us no favors!
