Scouting:
IUPUI is not a very good shooting team inside the arc; 43.3% 2pt FG (301). They shoot a fair percentage from 3; 34% 3pt FG (171) but are a pretty good free throw shooting team at 71.6% FT. IUPUI averages over 22 fouls per game (314). If you couple that with Memphis getting to the free throw line a lot we should expect a long excruciating game with a lot of free throws.

Trivia:
Former Tiger assistant under Pastner, Jason Gardner is the head coach of IUPUI. This is the 2nd time Memphis has played a Jaguar team in the last 3 games. The Southern Jaguars were the last. IUPUI has only had one NCAA tournament appearance, a 2003 loss to Kentucky. IUPUI stands for Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Hoping the end of the bench are the starters tonight.
Make all the others sit.

This conflicts with the Temple v. Toledo bowl game.

looking forward to that game
So, the guy that gets blamed for the slow starts and gives up his starting position tonight -- two questions:

1 Who will it be?

2. Will he get tendinitis and end up transferring?

If it's Shaq or Tarrant, we already know the answer to question #2.

yeah, I'm getting it.

it's a strange thing. Sometimes I get it and others can't.
It seems like it's just college basketball not working, weird
ESPN put up the football game instead of the basketball game when I first tried it. Mine seems fixed now, but the picture/sound aren't very good (Uverse).
Tulane will be a tougher game than this one.
