Unhappy with the starters.

Problem is...Memphis scored 78 points. Only nine of those were from the bench.

Who do you move in?

Burrell is the obvious choice. He is actually playing FEWER minutes this year than last, despite shooting BETTER from the field and the line. His eFG% is a team best 60%.

Put Woodson on the bench?
It is a shame that Kedren's shoulder or whatever has kept him from playing after he seemed to have put in the work over the summer to get in shape.

He has good ball skills and a decent outside shot even if he can't defend anyone.

Would've liked to have seen him and Tarrant in the backcourt together.

So he thinks we are starting slow because of the starting lineup?

The main issue isn't the players - it's that they aren't properly developed over the course of their careers and they are playing in a rec league system.

Well, there was the photo of him and Markel or maybe Tarrant taking boxing lessons and he appeared to have lost quite a few pounds...too lazy to go dig it up.

I remember pictures of Woodson saying he was getting in shape as well...

Yup.

"The issue is it's a recurring theme, our start. It's on me to make the change. We're gonna have to change some things up. Those guys can't say they've been in and out of the lineup because we've started the same (five players) since (the exhibition game against) LeMoyne-Owen," Pastner said.

"Why we started like we did? We could sit here and say the power outage, but you can't use that as an excuse because Ole Miss dealt with the same thing. Something has to give. We have to make some changes. I'm going to have to get with my staff and decide what we are going to do to somehow start better. We have tried everything other than moving guys in and out of the (starting) lineup....We have to make some changes with what we're doing on the way we're starting," Pastner said, "and the only thing I haven't done is made personnel changes."
Lapides seems to think that Martin will start in place of Woodson. I think Burrell should start and play the most minutes but we all know whAt the deal is there.
Take the names off the jerseys!
Moving Woodson to a role off the bench as shooter in spot minutes is one move in the correct direction...only should've been done at the beginning of LAST year.

SMH
I got a feeling Shaq is about to get benched in favor of KJ

Here comes the bus...

Pastner about to push one of the guys in front of it.
How about a coaching shake up?

Let Pastner go coach upward.

I call bs. Seems clear some changes in the starting line up need to be made. I favor Martin at point and Tarrant at 2guard. Woodson's offence has not been dependable enough to make up for his defense; not just this year either. I would give as many minutes as possible to Martin and KJ, in hopes that by late in the season we will have shown marked improvement. None of what Pastner has said or what I suggest equates with "throwing anyone under the bus". I have thought all along Pastner's mistake has been not looking at the long term. He is likely to be here for 2-4 more years. These freshmen are the future, got to get the minutes and recruit to fill the gaps. Gotta stop with the 8 new faces each year approach.
Martin?

What are you people on?

That would be the right track.
The problem with Burrell is that if he scores 20, the man that he is defending is going to get 35. He really struggles to guard against someone that can dribble.

As opposed to Woodson being a lock down defender?
