Problem? Too much inexperience. And the only way to solve that is by playing more games. No other way around it. This might have been a good year for a few more jucos to plug the gap until our young folks have a chance to grow and mature. Just look at what Coach Beard did.
He found some players to bring in who had already been through the wars. Jucos like Marcus Johnson, Lis Soshi and Jalen Jackson. Seniors or graduate students like Jermaine Rutley. I'm probably missing some, but you get the point.

Maybe Coach Foley just couldn't find what he needed in the way of experienced players, so he did what he could do. There is some talent in this Freshman class, but they're having to play too many minutes for the team to be successful early on. This will pay off down the line. This year? I'm not certain. But probably in the future. You don't question a coach who has won over 700 games in his career, IMO.04-cheers
Foley has played a very tough schedule in OC games. And we've almost beaten several of these teams, but we really don't have but one consistent scorer we can count on, and she's out for a couple of games. The rest haven't shown signs of consistency. What worries me is, who else in the conference besides Arkansas State is going to be tough. After A&M, we're very likely going to be 2-7. Going to be tough to pull out of. Seeing the schedule, I expected some hiccups early on, but thought we'd beat Tulsa and Missouri State. Won't likely see another 20 win season this year. We've got a couple, Dawn and #13 who can score on occasion. Not consistent. We've finally got a good men's team, and our women's team hasn't shown to be what we've become accustomed to.
