You talking about gseagles.com or this site?
Really nothing much to be gained from the press conference. The huge issue is who his staff is going to be.

I'd say higher potential than Fritz to be a disaster, but a higher ceiling than Fritz if he can step up the recruiting another level.

He's a young guy and this is his first HC job so I'm sure there will be times where he will be overwhelmed but hopefully he has had enough experiences to know how to handle it when it all falls on you.

Yeah, I had some folks telling me about the video issues. I got it as well.

I'm sure it had a lot to do with the volume of people watching the stream.

The conference should be up for anyone to watch soon.

Per article contract should be made public in about 4 to 5 days.

Been told by different people its a multi-million $ buyout, but we'll see in a few days if that's true. It's safe to assume, unless something really bad happens (or something really good), that he's here for at least 4 years.

I think his wife this ship. 3 young boys wanting to be raised near family. If Summers does move on to higher things, it will only be for local jobs in the neighboring P5 conferences.

If he does move on, it means Southern has succeeded and taken the next step for the program.
I think we have a much better chance of Summers being around 4-5 years than we did with Quitz.

I was told the buyout is around 1.5 million if Summers leaves after year 1, 2 or 3. I also have heard his salary provides incentives that will pay him close to 1 mil if he hits them all
If his contact is similar to what we pulled from Fritz after the ga state loss, it is $750k/yr with incentives hitting about $950k
I think the base pay is somewhere in the 500-550 K range with 300-350K more in incentives.
I'm guessing he would increase to the $750k range after a couple seasons of winning?
I have no doubt it would go up. Remember in year 1 Fritz was at 400K and apparently we were offering to practically double it to 750K in year 3 and that doesn't t include incentives
