Brutal schedule
I'm from Tennessee and I had to google it. There are a total of 400 students there in a town of less than 5000. Wow
Quite the murder's row. From what I can tell from the defunct website operated by Hiwasses's exhibition opponent, Hiwasses's exhibition opponent may have been high schoolers.
I'm embarrassed we scheduled this game.
Why do we play any non-D1 teams?
In the regular season
No idea but it should not be allowed by the NCAA. How do we justify one of our players even getting injured in a game like this. It's not like we are playing UAH or Auburn-Montgomery either. This team is below there division. Might as well have played Birmingham Southern or Huntingdon. I promise you juco teams are much more talented than this team will be.

+1

I hope we gave them a big payday that will support their program.
Is there a UAB or Coach Haase connection? Maybe we scheduled them as a personal favor? Just guessing though...
I'm guessing we originally had a normal opponent scheduled for this night that cancelled for whatever reason which left us scrambling to find an opponent at the last minute.
Much rather played instate foes South, A&M, and Samford.

Or Mercer, Murray St., Ga Southern, Memphis (away) and ect.

I know some gonna make excuses for Haase and the scheduling.

We have played plenty of instate foes this year. We tried to schedule Samford a couple of yrs ago, and they declined. Damn Haase. He should have forced them.
How about we show up and support the Blazers and hopefully our big Frenchman gets lots of much needed PT?

What about the other six genius, those could make for good road games too.
I know to you, I may seem like a genius, but trust me, I'm not quite. You just keep hating on Haase as he leads us to a good season. It gives all something to laugh at.

Blue font for the compliment, lol. Call it what you may, but filling up on cupcakes will make for easy wins nothing signature.

We played ASU, Auburn, and Troy. Georgia St is a better win than USA, UNA, UAH, UAM, West AL, Tuskegee, and AL A&M. Outside of maybe UA and maybe Samford, we played the best teams in the state. I'm sure scheduling was a little difficult since we did have a little success at the end of the season. Hasse could have probably scheduled some tougher teams on the road, but then we'd all complain about that too.

Not me. I'll take 7 games we have a fighting chance at on the road over this crap.

Go to ole miss/miss state/Georgia/vandy/Tennessee/Georgia tech/ u name the school and toughen the team up. Sure, we would take some losses, but I'm sure we would find some wins playing those teams too. Plus, the road loss doesn't hurt terribly and picking up a road win is always helpful.(7 may have been an exaggeration, but I'd rather play 3 of those teams on the road then have another non d1 team on the schedule ever again)
How do you generate income if you are playing the majority of your OOC on the road. The reason we play cupcakes is because we have to put together enough home games to sell season tickets and decent teams won't play us at home.
