Less than 10k?

It's already less than 10K now. That's an easy bet.
they announce tickets sold, so it will not be below 10k

actual butts in seats is another story

the southern game had about 5-6k

4k. The product just isn't there, and people have better things to do. Sad what has happened to Tiger Basketball.
I thought it was only 9 fans with aliases and Twitter?
If we beat IUPUI we'll have the big mo going into the all important Tulane game.

Supposedly... And they must buy a ton of tickets and eat a LOT of concessions.

One less than last night.

Ooie pooie on a Tuesday night after last night's performance? I'll guess 3500, although it is supposed to be 68 degrees that day. OK, 4 grand tops.

Dayum
4500
It'll still be considerably more than Ole Miss hosting Troy the same night.

That's rich. A team that has never had a basketball following drubs us on our home court, and the response is -- but we'll still have a few hundred more in our stands than they will in there's when we both play our next cupcake opponents.

Just when you're thinking it might not really be as bad as it seems, someone makes an unintended admission like this. Yes, Mark, that is, indeed, the level to which we have sunk. Thanks for being honest. That kind of honesty will, eventually, lead to our resurrection as a basketball power.
College BB attendance has been slowly, but surely slipping everywhere. That said, our attendance has witnessed a pretty big drop over the CJP era. If the best we can get for a Friday night game against the Black Bears is less than 15,000 announced, that is a really bad sign. Unless we go to the Sweet 16 this year, CJP simply has to go. Apathy has already set in and another head-scratching, underwhelming performance is going to put an even bigger dent in our attendance next year. This program really needs a shot of enthusiasm.

I have to painfully agree with you. My lame attempt at a 'make me feel better' post actually made me feel worse.
Ole miss average 7200 last year (tickets sold)

Actual around 1500-2000
Butts in seats, 3500 to 4500. Our once proud basketball program (was once a proud and strong program, long before Cal. Pulse of the city), is being destroyed by that joke of a coach we have running the show. Negotiate a buy out deal and send him packing.

It IS painful. I agree. All of us who bleed Tiger blue feel like crap about what our basketball program has become and about what our administration is doing to improve the situation.
