with minimal contributions and NO effort? Never looks to pass. Had 1 pt, 1reb, 2 assts, 3 turnovers and 4 fouls. That is Pastners fault and may have cost us game along with about 5 other GLARING coaching mistakes.

I'm off the fence. If Bowen wasn't stripping down basketball to Mississippi standards, he would run the numbers like someone else did on this forum and see you HAVE to buy him out. As on the court performance gets worse and worse, it is inevitable.
Why did Kedren play any minutes ?
Pastner.

Bingo. Not just on the bench but got a paycheck for his sons to sign with us.
The Lawsons are both freshmen and are really going to be good., the problem is that Paz has the roster so f u c k e d up that KJ has to play major minutes. Not KJ's fault. He's probably a 4 year player and I'm glad he's here. Dedric is going to be special but he probably only stays 2 years....

Josh is fighting for his job but if you get paid anyway I guess it doesn't matter. Bill Laurie was courtside tonight-I hope he will see that buyout needs to be done and he will help.

I want Chris Mack from Xavier but have been told by several people close to him that he wouldn't take job if it opened up. Archie Miller is second choice.

KJ is definitely talented and will be a very good player here with time. Unfortunately, he simply is not there yet.

He is coaching at his alma mater I can't see him leaving for here.
Josh isn't fighting for his job. This one anyway.

KJ is but freshmen play and start on very good teams. I want Pastner gone but don't blame anyone but KJ for a listless, selfish game.

Actually that's not the reasons. Can't say more.

please tell us. you're amongst friends
His last name.
Does daddy Lawson ever do anything?
I don't ever think I have ever seen him coaching players when they come off the floor.
At least Kirby and Damon get up and try to get the players motivated

And, this may be stupid, but why Josh stay out to see if the last play was good?
Should have been in locker room with his team.

And the camera was right behind Josh the whole time. Point is, Josh has nothing to say.

I remember a few seasons back, Josh was getting criticized for not calling time outs when other teams made runs. Finally, a reporter asked him why, and Josh kind of rolled his eyes, like he does when someone suggests getting a veteran bench coach, and said something like "there isn't anything a coach can say to stop a run".

That's a ridiculous - but predictable - leap. His Dad was also on the bench the other half of the games this year when he got less than 19 minutes.

I'm guessing he earned the minutes with play in practice and his performance last game when he went 16-6-3.

I hope for the buyout as well. I can't tell Laurie what to do with his (FIL's) money. But it's obviously needed now.

However, we need realistic expectations. We ain't getting Chris Mack or Archie Miller.

It was clear within a few minutes that KJ did not have it. Burrell would have been yanked and not seen another minute. Possibly KJ is this years Avery Woodson who JP has fallen in love with and believes can do no wrong. But KJ mis not ready for 20 minutes a game right now.
Feeding frenzy.
