that Coach Beard doesn't want to build his offense around three point shots. We take some when we can't get to the basket, but I think his style is to keep moving until you can get close to the basket for an easier shot, or draw a foul. Seems like we generally only take a three pointer near the end of the shot clock. Does anyone else have that impression?04-cheers
With the foul shooters we have, we need to be drawing every foul we can.

And I remember hearing Bobby Knight say exactly that on TV not too long ago. "You can get an open 3-pointer any time you want to. Why not work the ball and try to draw a foul?"
I totally disagree, nothing is clear about what we are doing on offense. It's clear defensively but I think our of will start peaking in these next few games.
I'm only basing it on what I've seen so far. You might be absolutely right. As the players become more comfortable with the offense, we might see a few more good three point shots.

Suggest you pay more attention to the offense........03-banghead03-banghead

Yes. Passing up a good shot to get a better shot.
I've just noticed movement for an open shot. If one doesn't materialize, drive to the basket, and either go up and hopefully draw a foul or kick it to the perimeter to shooters who are bound to be open.

It's called "Motion Offense".......02-13-banana02-13-banana02-13-banana
Correct
As opposed to "emotion" offense?
