The AAC has nothing to offer. But on the flip of the coin. The AAC has a lot to offer someone like Colorado state and New Mexico.

No way. It is a waste of time. Focus for now on Rice, Air Force and Army. Later, be on the watch for schools that want partial affiliation: That may include Georgetown, BYU, or possibly someday even Notre Dame (especially if the ACC pushes too far on making them a full member and the Big 10 presents similar pressures.) At some point the ACC may implode, anyway. If a solid conference of respected colleges is in place and is flexible enough, schools like UVA, Duke and Wake may consider the option. Maybe then Pitt and Syracuse (and BC) can come begging.

Sure, when CUSA lures UConn, Cinci, Houston, and Memphis back, they will be needed as replacements in the AAC.

I'd go for the Cleveland Browns. It would be beneficial to the AAC to attract a team with a Heisman QB.

That's true, now, but exposure to the AAC might elevate their game after a couple of years. Other pluses are a big stadium and a hefty endowment.

Which makes this the perfect time for the MAC to lure UCF and Temple back.

The more you look at it from the "lure back" perspective, the more urgent luring Pitt and Syracuse back would seem to be.

Notre Dame is going to lure back Penn State and all the former independents back to being independent!

Boise State will be lured back to the AAC and then back again to the Mountain West followed by TCU.

New Mexico State and Idaho will get the gang back together for a WAC reunion too.
