If he has an offer then he doesn't really need a home.

He needs to accept the offer.
I find it hard to believe we don't have a scholly to offer a highly-regarded, 3-star local kid especially due to our rebuilding and needs...

I'm sure HCBC has his reason...
Yep. The coaches have met with area high school teams several times.
I know he's met with area schools. Two people I work with have come to me and told me UAB was recruiting their kid, but their kids are still waiting or holding out for something else.

That's why I'm not all crazy over recruiting. You only get half the story from some of these kids and/or parents. Then you have the news trying tug at your heartstrings with stories like this.

I'd love for us to get every kid in Alabama, from a 1 star to a 5 star. But don't act like now you have no where to go because who you wanted to go to the dance with dumped you.
The article has already been updated with this:
Quote:UPDATE: P.J. Hall has offers from Georgia Southern, Western Kentucky, Troy and Middle Tennessee.

Yeah, so the guy has choices & the article or interviewers aren't being respectful to the schools that have already offered... that's the way it comes off.
