It is a big day for Temple fans.
Poor USF.
I miss the days when Memphis used to play a competitive ooc schedule. I know Oklahoma, osu are there but outside of couple of mid level SEC teams, the rest of the schedule is not fun. I also miss the late season game against Gonzaga/Xavier. Even if we win the remaining ooc games, I believe our rpi may stay close to 75 - if that.

We have had many bad teams in the past but I would say this is the worst of them all. No defense, no shooting, no leadership it's horrific. I don't even watch any longer for the good of my health.
we are horrible.

absolutely horrible.
thats not what i was hearing just a couple of days ago from Tulsa fans on this very board….
It's frustrating to see Tulsa beat pretty good (supposedly) teams like Wichita and Ok St. then lose to teams that supposedly aren't that good. I'm starting to question Haith's coaching abilities.
Tulsa loses at home to hoops dynamo Oral Roberts.....awesome

I think it's on Haith AND our seniors. You can't play this inconsistently & expect to be a tourney team. They show up one game & play half speed the next. We've let underdogs hang around & we've been bit twice already this season (UALR & ORU).
Haith does this everywhere, right? Starts off like gangbusters and gets the fanbase all excited and fired up. Then, he drops a turd in the punch bowl.
Three up four down, ouch.
11, 5, and 3 from true freshman Shizz Alston
10 from true freshman Trey Lowe

All about the future.
Memphis played a terrible game. We were up only a handful late in the game against winless SEMO, before finally pulling away to win by 15.
soooo I thought EVERYONE was back from last year's team? Am I wrong? and If I'm right, whats the deal?
We played one of our better games, except for a few stretches. Couldn't hit free throws and Dabney was forcing everything. Just need to let the freshmen play.

Sorry, I was talking about Tulsa.

Tulane- I expect you guys to suck. Carry on.

You're wrong and obviously not paying attention.

Austin Nichols transferred to Virginia, and is sitting out a year.

Nick King transferred to Alabama, and is sitting out a year.

Kuran Iverson transferred to Rhode Island, and is playing there.

Chris Hawkins couldn't get a medical clearance, and is out for the season.

Calvin Godfrey graduated.

Kedren Johnson has an ongoing shoulder injury, and will likely see limited action all season. He played a few minutes last night, for the first time.

Two 2015 recruits were going to be redshirted, but will transfer out instead.

We started the season with 10 new faces on the roster.

We are so thin on the front line, we have played a walk-on significant minutes so far.

Other than that, nothing changed.
