Our weakest position last season was our defensive secondary, that was an area JF was concentrating on shoring up. Also need some OL and possibly LB to replace those graduating. The list of commitments to date don't seem to reflect much in the way of OL and LB. Is Memphis in on anyone for these positions? What is the rules on Norvell signing players he was recruiting as an ASU coach?

Agree with DBs bring bare. Pruitt will be a stud in the future. I don't think DL is bare, but I'd prefer to see us run a 4-3. Nonetheless, we need to sign 2 DTs and 3 DEs in this class along with 4 LBs.
We need to sign a juco LB, CB, and OT. We have zero OL, LB, and DE commits...needs to be an area of focus over the next 2 months.
LBs maybe JUCo LBs

If we go that route, those have to be in by Mid-December, correct?

Rob

Improving the secondary is a must. No one on that crew should be assured a job going into next year. Other than that I think we just need to provide some depth at a few positions. Lb for sure since we are losing Pegues and McManis, OL since we lose Fallin and 3 backups, and WR since we lose Frazier and Jones. Wouldn't turn down a pass rusher as well.

I feel pretty good about WR. We were able to redshirt 3 guys that in years past would have played as true frosh. We also have 3 WRs committed for the 2016 class.

I completely agree with your other points.

Not to take away from your point, according to Rivals we have Caleb Grant a DE committed. Will he play somewhere else?
OL and DL are always a need IMO. Can't ever get enough of them.
Go get big ugly's. Games are won at the line of scrimmage.

And throw in some LB's who can run.

A strong DL protects a weak secondary. A strong secondary doesn't protect a weak DL.
