Do any insiders know of or have some indicators as to what bowl we're looking at? I think my first pick would be the Poinsettia Bowl, but am more curious if anyone has some clues!

TOL!
No such thing as an insider with bowl games. (Unless you have someone on a bowl committee...)
CampusInsider says Boca Raton Bowl vs Temple
^Would be very satisfied with that result in every way possible!
Be a cool game and probably the nicest treat for the players of the reasonably possible bowls. Something new. Exciting location. Ok, close to exciting locations.
There are so many last minute deals that happen with bowl games, it's way too early to know where Toledo might go bowling. Anyone's guess at this point.
Yeah, somehow the MAC Commissioner will land us in the Potato Bowl...
I would love to end up in a bowl game against Temple. I think it would show the AAC that they aren't as powerful as they think they are. We handled Temple when they were in the Mac. I see no reason that we would have any trouble with them .

A friend posted the Potato Bowl poster with Toledo playing Utah St . . . from 2012. My heart went heavy for a moment!
My Guess:

UT/NIU/CKS - Mobile/Boca/San Diego, with MAC Champ going to Mobile, so that would leave UT either Boca or San Diego.

Doesn't someone get first dibbs on the MAC champion? Would that be the GoDaddy?

Toledo represented well last year. I would have mixed reactions about the GoDaddy this year, though. While it's a great event, it was rainy last year, and I heard it was supposed to be rainy down there again this year.

I think we're working to play Auburn or VT in Birmingham/Shreveport, but we'll see.
Toledo's bowl destination will be announced on Sunday.....per UT AD Mike O'Brien.
I think there's a show (might be on ESPNU) where the match-ups are announced. Don't know what time that starts
Supposedly UT has said they don't expect to know until late afternoon tomorrow
BG to GoDaddy, per John Wagner on twitter.

People are saying it looks like (speculating) it'll be the Boca Bowl. And per this Blah article, it looks like it would be a good chance that UT goes to Boca. http://www.bcsn.tv/news_article/show/585..._id=916754

Quote:Since the “top tier” of MAC teams would logically include the Falcons and Rockets along with NIU, the most likely bowl destinations for those schools are the GoDaddy Bowl...the Boca Raton Bowl...and the Poinsettia Bowl...

Since the Huskies played in the Boca Raton Bowl last season, either Toledo or BG probably will fill that opening. Since the Rockets played in the GoDaddy Bowl, either the Falcons or NIU are the most likely candidates to play in that game.

Looks like there's a bowl selection show on ESPNU at 4 Eastern Sunday afternoon.

Be honest, the Bowl was only fun for you guys because you got to play our Swiss cheese defense.

Go Daddy has first pick, and they won't give it up after losing NIU to Boca last year, so BG will go there to play SBC 3rd place Georgia Southern. Looking like Ohio will go to Montgomery to face 2nd place App State.
I have proposed on AZZ we hold the "Grudge Bowl" in place of some other stupid bowl nor one cares about or can travel to anyway.
