-winningest coach in Cal Bears history
- "known for tudoring QBs" Trent Dilfer and A rodgers-- I saw this on at least 2 different sites.
-coached Marshawn Lynch at Cal
-Just stepped down from CFL job and openly stated that he wanted a college job.
- offensive co-ordinator in NFL
I am not pushing this guy. I do not know a damn thing about him other than what I just read on google. But, NICE resume

I also don't know much about Tedford. But he was fired from Cal because of losing seasons and he also had a low graduation rate. I don't understand why he is even mentioned for Memphis except that Bowen knows him.

What does Tudoring involve?
I refuse to support anyone with three names.
Tedford looks to me to be a perfect candidate for Mizzou..03-shhhh
Only three syllables though.

Sounds like a prospect worth seriously considering to me. Not only does he have Division 1A head coach experience, but was the winningest coach in Cal history. As I have said before, experience is the best teacher and he has probably learned from his past mistakes. WE would benefit from his training, just as Va Tech is benefitting from our investment in Fuente. If Bowen wants him, so do I.
Can he recruit and what.kind of staff can he assemble?

There was a highly-touted QB out of CA - Zach Kline - that he signed while at Cal - Tedford was fired, Dykes hired and Jared Goff beat out Kline, who has since bounced around.

Fast forward to today and Kline is transferring back to Cal to graduate and be eligible to be QB anywhere he wants next year - coincides with Tedford resigning his position yesterday.

Not saying we'd be interested or that the QB will be any good, just saying it certainly looks like there is a plan in place for some school.
