Ok. We know where we are going- at least the 3 of us do. It is pointless now to bicker about what bowl we got or who got shafted etc.

We need wins in every bowl

If either you or App wanted to Volunteer to lose this week, we could have 4 bowl teams and increase our chances of sneaking up the G5 conference standings.
I can t see that happening on senior day Saturday. I really think South Alabama has a decent shot at home vs App
Cold day in hades before I pull for Stink

I'd pull for App over Notre Dame as long as van gorder is there, other than that it ain't happening.
Well I'm not only pulling for the Belt teams I'm going to the NOB and staying in the A-state hotel also got free tickets to the GDB from the military. Heck just because my team laid an egg this year doesn't mean I have to miss bowl season.
I will pull for conference members in bowls.

Agree completely. It is time to pull for any and all SBC teams to win their Bowl Game. Put the petty, silly nonsense away until after the SBC Bowl Games are over. I will watch each game and I will be a fan of whichever SBC Team is playing that night.

Go stAte . . Go Ga Southern . . Go App !! 04-cheers
Some conference monies are dictated by how well we do here. We've been here 3 years and even though we got raked over the coals for a bid last year I still watched and pulled for conference mates to get the W.

You'd rather your U (and therefore the conference) loses money because you don't want another team (a rival) to win?

Still in that FCS mindset. It's not every man for himself in FBS post season.
Pulling for every one of you.
Absolutely want all of us win our bowl games to help improve our image. We can root against one another during the regular season but now it's about the conference.

I understand the reasoning for why we should root for all the SBC teams but maybe some people just dislike certain teams that much.

Even though we're not in CUSA with UTSA I still wish they would lose every game and if we were in the same conference as them I'd still wish that upon them. Hell I'd even hope they'd lose their FCS game even though it'd make the conference look bad!

In the end any person rooting for some team to win or lose doesn't affect anything so no one should get upset over their choice of victor.

Absurd to think this is an FCS way of thinking. You think Ohio St fans want Michigan to win, Auburn wants Bama to win, OK State wants OK to win? It's a rivalry for a reason.

Truthfully I'll attempt to pull for App but I make no promises. I just had to respond to the app fan I quoted.
I have no issues pulling for GS in this one.
I'll pull for stAte in the NO Bowl, GaSo in the GoDaddy, us in the Camellia and Georgia State in the Cure. 05-stirthepot

Wear your vermilion proudly. We'll all assume it's scarlet.

The ass kicking of LaTech will be dedicated, in part, to our friends the Cajuns.

We're not the Big 10 or the SEC. We're in a G5 conference with the worst reputation. Finishing ahead of last in the conference ratings could mean literally millions more for our school. I don't understand this myopic mode of thinking.

Aside from this, I am fed up with people saying GS and App's record just proves how bad the conference is. I hope we and App beat the slop out of our bowl opponents.
Good luck to everyone bowling. Hopefully our team has enough left in the tank to pull out the upset against App and get there ourselves.

If not, I'll still be pulling for App and stAte to clober their opponents, and I'll be there to watch GS take care of business. We have 3 really good teams that will represent the SBC well.
Whoever I root for will have no impact on the outcome of a game.
