Anyone know the 4th NC game? Hoping it's a home game with an FCS team.
Dear WoodenNickle,
I heard that the opening game was going to be Mississippi Valley State. That would round out the out of conference schedule.
I remember a way back some of you guys were throwing around Illinois as one of the opponents. Is that still happening sometime soon ?

Very nice home schedule.

MVSU should be the 'guaranteed' win game.

Nice to have WYO visit us.

And, of course, CMU and Toledo, are two rivals.
The non-conference opponent records this year were:
Missouri 5-7
Charlotte 2-10
Wyoming 2-10
MVSU1-10

My comment: 04-cheers

We just might beak the '2-game (win) ceiling' this year. 03-cloud9

I can see 4 wins as the over / under line for 2016.

It's all about the defense. If the defense is close to mediocre 4-6 wins are possible. No team can win when the defense is off the charts bad.
Since we'll be moving to a 4 man front next year, that alone should be good for about 2 wins. Really, really, really need a Juco DB that can step on the field immediately.

4 man front, healthy players, young talent stepping up, should all add up to a competent, middle of the MAC defense.

Is that speculation, or already decided upon? I hope it's the latter...

Wow! So it's settled then? We drop a once in a lifetime home/home series with michigan state so we could get a 2016 home game with MVS?
Yeah. Thats about right.

Don't know where you've been, but that's not the case.

MSU decided they weren't going to pay us anything for the 2016 game in East Lansing.

If you're interested, there's a huge thread on here with lots of details. I had even linked to copies of the actual signed game contracts.

Trust me, he's not me.
Ron English?

Who cares, we're not playing them. Good luck against Iowa.
I believe the two ADs discussed it and MSU and EMU came to a mutual agreement. Go back to the press releases by both schools on the matter.
