Oy..... It might be time to actually build a physical building at EMU.

Dear utpotts,
Not the first time it has happened. Nothing that unusual for inflated facilities.

I don't think they are supposed to "rip." I'd call that unusual.

No....... It's a piece of crap. Cheap.
Dear utpotts,
My, My, someone got out of the wrong side of the bed today. Toledo does what it wants, and Eastern does what it wants. It is much cheaper than concrete and bricks, but serves the purpose for which it was intended. Maybe you should come up and see what it's like.

Dear CMUprof,
Since inflatables do not have the same strength as I described above with utpotts, tears or rips may happen. You get the same invite as utpotts.

Will you be there to lift it up so they can crawl underneath it?
Dear eich41,
No need to. It inflates.
Apparently, not reliably.
Why do any "non EMU" folks care about EMU's bubble and need to take "pottshots" (pun intended) at it anyway?
Gentlemen,
This indoor practice facility has been in operation for five or six years. It will continue to be in service once it has been repaired. If you have a problem with it, and I don't know why, since it is not a part of your school's physical components, maybe you should get a life.
I'm just in it for the cheap jokes. Any school is fair game, even mine. If it's a MAC board, school, and topic, it's all part of the fun we call #MACtion.

A bubble building springs a leak? Gold, Jerry, gold!
#MACproblems
So, EMU's bubble burst?
Best comment I've seen was on our board: I assume it didn't collapse under the weight of expectations".

I reach the opposite conclusion. EMU is lucky this is an inflatable, since if a physical building had collapsed, the "all the club soccer players using the facility got out safely" part of the story might not have gone that way.

looking at your bird, maybe an angry eagle decided to take umbridge with a one-win season and take down the IPF? If we had beaten Temple I would have blamed a very angry owl. Lol.

I believe something like this happened with the Dallas Cowboy's IPF but I thought it was weather related...

For all of the jokes, etc. the important thing, as was noted, that the IPF was occupied and they successfully got soccer players out safely.

If I remember the article correctly these were kids, not grown adults (e.g., EMU women's soccer team) and there was nothing to warn anyone of an impending failure (e.g., strong storms, winds, snow, etc.).

You need to stop trolling.
It would be kind of aerie to be in EMU's bubble when it collapsed.
