campbell reported to iowa state
if these are the 2 finalists, rhule might be the only one available
Mizzou loves to raid Toledo.
For Temple's sake, Campbell to Missouri would be best
Makes no sense.
Campbell from Toledo makes sense...that frees up Barry Odom to head for Memphis...win/win
I thought Campbell took the Iowa State job
We've been through that before (having our HC interview during Championship week), and experienced the result. This is good news for us.

Agree. That's total bush league if Rhule interviews this week. Way too much of a distraction. If I'm temple and this is true, I'm po'ed.

It shouldn't be allowed. How can you say you're fulfilling your current job obligations, when you're off interviewing else where?
Low class on his part if he indeed interviews during prep week for the championship game.
NCAA should make a rule that no head coaches can be interviewed, for any open head coach position, until AFTER conference championship week.
So Navy, Temple, Memphis and Houston all losing there head coaches. Tulane, SMU and UCF fired their head coaches? Wow. 07-coffee3
If I were the Temple AD I'd seriously tell Rhule if you go on that interview don't come back.

Trolling attempt aside, you can remove Herman from your list. Southern Cal is not interested, Miles is staying at LSU, and Herman is not interested in any other openings. Sorry, but you still have to deal with a loaded UH team next year. Good luck with that.
This is as good a place as any to ask a question I suppose. How does it work as far as hiring a coach who is already under contract with a tea? How is that contract able to be broken?

It seems to work different for players from my recollection. PSU had a QB a few years ago who wish to be released from his commitment to the team. Joe Paterno wouldn't sign the release. As a result, that QB was required to stay put.

How is it that a player can't leave but a coach can? I don't get it.

Learn how the difference between their and there. Herman isn't leaving this year and most importantly 34-31.
Campbell just got hired at ISU.
Iowa State?!?!?!?!

LOL

He what a horrific career move. He just jumped into P5 abyss.

He must have wanted out at Toledo something fierce. What a crud move on his part.

Respect lost for him big time.
