A lot of grumbling going on. Have we any information on the injured player?

WMU bosrd had a brief article- picture of Brown holding a game ball while in hospital bed. Said he would be OK. Obviously not a minor ding, but it appears he will recover.
He was moving his extremities on the field. So I never thought it was of the spinal cord/paralysis variety of injury, it was serious. Enough to take a a lot of precaution.
He's at UTMC. He'll be fine.

The former Medical College of Ohio in case anyone forgot...
...and Fleck says the play is being reviewed by the commissioner's office "as we speak". what a douchebag.
I said before that I don't think there was any intent to injure anyone. And for anyone to say otherwise is just plain dumb. It's good to hear that everything will be ok. I hope that this is a good learning experience for everyone.

He's a grand-stander. What else do you expect him to say?
Somebody please, please offer PJ a job away from the MAC. He's about as annoying as Hurley was in BB. Not that he shouldn't look out for his kid. It was an unfortunate play all the way around. I will probably get slammed for this, but after watching it on replay several times, yes it was dirty-esque, but from the impact it didn't seem like the result should have resulted in what happened. Zo's pads were in front of the WMU player and he was taller. Maybe it was because the camera angle was from behind?

I just won't believe that any player is out to hurt someone. Play aggressive yes, but tackling or blocking with the intent to injure just isn't in the game. There are unfortunate plays in every season. Tait getting his knee twisted off by the entire Indiana Defense. The NIU QB going down without a hit. Bosa from O$U leveling the UM QB over the weekend and injuring him, etc. Even the most horrible of coaches would never coach a player to hurt someone. It was a dumb play by a normally anti-blocking receiver. Someone on another string said it was probably the first block he's tossed in 4 years.
