So Drexel can't seem to find cupcake to squash on their schedule. Monmouth comes to town on Saturday. About 15-20 years ago, this was an annual opponent for Drexel and Drexel squashed them almost every time.
The 2015-16 Hawks just came back from LA. They stunned UCLA in OT at Pauley, and lost by just 11 at USC. They are ranked #22 in the Mid-Major Top 25 poll.
This is a quick stop "home" between a trip to LA and a Thanksgiving trip to Disney World where they will compete in a tournament with all teams from the Power 5 and Wichita State. Hopefully this will be that letdown game for Monmouth.
Drexel desperately needs a win a home before travelling to Alaska for Thanksgiving for a tournament that's got a much weaker field than what the Hawks will face in Disney.
