Stick a fork in em
Big 12 might be following along within a week or so.

Not necessarily. Michigan St beats Ohio St. wins Big Ten. Utah wins Pac 12 going 12-1. Utah a lot more impressive vs Michigan.
Yep, pretty much.
It certainly looks that way. It is not a done deal yet but it sure is close to being such.
Not Really. If Utah is 12-1, they're not that far out.

Big 12 is in a lot more trouble quite frankly.
Utah is ranked 10th right now and will probably move up to 7th with three teams ahead of them losing but they may not get moved ahead of Baylor and thus would be ranked 8th. Let's not forget that Utah is losing right now to Arizona. If that continues then Yes, Utah is out.

If Utah wins, it sure as heck better be ranked in front of Baylor.

Baylor literally hasn't done jack squat. They've played no one, until this week - and lost.

Utah might not be ranked ahead of OK St, OU and/or TCU, though.
Utah definitely will be ahead of TCU. And Baylor- these provided they win. Frankly, they may pass Oklahoma St with how awful OSU looked vs Iowa St.
hopefully ND crashes and burns too so we can see some real CFP chaos.
Utah looks less impressive every week...they're in a dog fight with mediocre Arizona

The Stanford loss hurts them as well...it means that a PAC 12 Championship opponent won't be ranked as high

I'd put Utah behind Notre Dame in all this...they need to win out AND need help

Not that much help though. If Big Ten champ is Michigan St or Michigan, and Utah is 12-1, Utah will be in.
If Utah wins out (including tonight; tied now), my money would be on them getting in (need an upset or two, but we usually get them). That said, I do not think Utah is going to finish with just that one loss.

really would only take Michigan St to beat Ohio St.
now the Pac 12 is most likely done- although Stanford at 11-2 wouldn't take much carnage to get back in there..
Utah loses in 2nd OT. Everyone in the PAC-12 has at least two losses.
No way a 2 loss PAC-12 team makes the CFP, they are done.

Stanford at 11-2 wouldn't take all that much to get back in things. For one, that knocks out Notre Dame. Then would just take a Baylor or Oklahoma St with a 11-1 record- think Stanford would beat them.

I don't think folks realize how much carnage we've had. We have only 4 undefeated P5 teams and only 8 1 loss P5 teams right now.
This year starting to remind me some of 2007. I mean, we had of the top 10 teams a whopping 4 teams lose. and it could easily have been 6 of the top 12.

Yes. The PAC certainly took some huge blows today, but there's still too much football left to be played to say they are out for sure.
