TUES 11/10

Kent St. @ Ohio
Toledo @ CMU

WED 11/11

NIU @ Buffalo
BGSU @ WMU

SAT 11/14

Akron @ Miami
UMass @ EMU
This week picking will be a real handicapping challenge. I do not see a clear cut, automatic pick in any of the 6 games.
Kent St. @ Ohio Tough call here. Last month it would have been a sure thing for Ohio, but this team is strewn with injuries. However, I believe that OU will pull just enough out of the cellar to get a close win and become bowl eligible.

Toledo @ CMU Toledo will be coming at this one hard in order to make up for their lost to NIU.

WED 11/11

NIU @ Buffalo Should be an easy win for the Huskies.

BGSU @ WMU We will win. Nothing more to say. 03-nerner

SAT 11/14

Akron @ Miami Akron has the talent to win this one. Add to it that they need this win, so they will be bringing their A game.

UMass @ EMU EMU is a much better team than their record is showing. Put them in the MAC East and they would be in the middle of the pack.........I know I am going to hear some grief on this one. 03-melodramatic
BG-WMU game will be a "hum-dinger"....but I am on the BG bandwagon right now and look for them to win. I also see UMASS maybe getting by EMU.....EMU's line has been decimated by injuries according to their posters on the Miami-EMU game yesterday.

I wouldn't call anything easy with us on the road starting a freshman QB who was the 4th stringer until injuries to three QB's moved him up the depth chart.

I thought he looked pretty good against UT. Don't short change him,his numbers were comparable to Hare's.

Yes but he is a RS freshman and consistency is certainly a concern. It will be interesting to see how he performs in his first start.

Buffalo has a ball hawk or two on its defense, so this could definitely be a challenge for your young QB. Unlike last week -- or at CMU -- he at least will go into this one having a lot of practice reps and knowing that he is "the guy." I was actually surprised by the shellacking we put on the Bulls a few weeks ago; they have played well most of the season, and our contest against them in NY last season was certainly close. Although the Nevada loss was, I thought, puzzling.
I don't see a lot of difference among Buffalo, KSU, Akron, and Ohio. Tough to pick any game with two of them.

Buffalo has a better offense than any of the others in that group. Ohio had better early in the season, but the Bobcats are so beat up, I wouldn't be surprised to see them hold an open campus audition for back-up players, especially at LB and QB. Kent and Akron look very similar to me: strong defensive teams with underachieving offenses and some issues on special teams.

48 F , 100% chance of rain with 40 mph gust of wind.
I would rather have snow.

Thundershowers Lo 52
I predict Kent to have the lead before halftime and will play conservative the entire second half while OU comes back and wins. So par for the course with this Kent team so far.

I really hope that you are wrong about the CMU beating UT.
Tough picks this week. I can see every one of my picks going the opposite way.
