Frank Bromberg was "anti-UAB"? Wasn't he the one who resigned in order to facilitate the appointment of Paul Bryant, Jr.? He certainly did UAB no favors with that move.

Weren't Frank and Frank Jr. members of the Golden 100 Club in the early days at the Coliseum? Or are they even still?

I know their company still has season tickets, mid-court behind scorer's table. I get them for 80+% of the games, because nobody else there usually wants them.

Bromberg & Delchamp & Drummond were all anti-UAB on the BOT before Cubby Bear got a seat.

Yep, he is the one who screwed UAB.

It's not so much "anti-UAB" is that it's so pro-Tuscalousy that any growth or success at UAB or Huntsville is seen as a direct threat to "mama".

Read old Baxley ads about how he's not going to let those Birmingham carpetbaggers get control of "our" beloved BoT.

Hell, people still run for office using that line. They couch it as if they are under siege.
