First QB @ #10 and it's the guy from Penn State.
No Lynch in first round (PSU guy, Goff, Cook).

OK.....

Maybe Lynch told him he's staying 03-wink

That would be the very best move for him to make..... stay around. 04-bow
If Lynch is a guaranteed first rounder, and I'd bet he is, he has to go. Without question.

As someone else has sagely said: "DeAngelo and Peyton stayed". Makes perfect $en$e to me. 07-coffee3
As much as would Love to have Paxton around for one more year, If he gets a a chance to go 1st round NFL I mean you gotta go right ? If wants to stay, then I am all smiles from ear to ear for another year,,, He has the skills and the scouts want him... ??
That guy is an idiot.

Clueless
I would think he's gone...however, a couple of factors that could keep him here for 1 more year:

1) Heisman (would be a preseason front runner)
2) Nat'l Championship (you never know)

Either way, it's been a pleasure having him as a Tiger!!!!

For what it's worth, I think he is staying one more year too. Just a gut feeling.
I've enjoyed him as much as anyone but he is too good to stay just so the national pundits can pick him apart next year. Risk vs Rewards not worth it.

Let's just pray Brady Davis is as/better than advertised. He'll definitely have the weapons around him. If Paxton leaves and CJF stays then he must have a lot of confidence in Brady.

02-13-banana If it were me personally then I would stay. If it were my son
then I would advise him to go.

You're right. Long shot to stay - those would be the only 2 reasons. The risk is injury.

Peyton stayed because he didn't need the money and he wanted a Heisman and NC. Didn't get either - awwww. Deangelo stayed because he wanted to move from a 2nd round projection into the 1st round, and we promised him some things - primarily to promote him for the Heisman.

Paxton probably goes and I would probably advise him to go.
Go for the money. You can always come back and finish college later, but If i remember right, hes really close to graduating anyways.
It may be in the university's best interest for him to go. Not that I wouldn't want him to return, but for the recruiting value of raising the value of and placing players in the NFL. Even if the college association only changes 1 out of 10 minds, it's an improvement. If he has goals or principles that motivate him to return, more power to him, although I would cringe at the risk to his NFL future.
