No? Me neither.

Zero ranked teams excluding Temple, the one they kicked out.

Lmao
You are over-posting.
I remember them getting 50% of their teams in the tournament last year

Is that the same Big East Conference that invited Memphis University as an all-sports member?

Plus I don't count uconn. Yall made if into the circle of trust
Pitt, Syracuse, Va. Tech, and BC are crying all the way to the bank. They get paid well to be Clemson's and FSU's beeatch.

In that case you should've aimed higher than the B-East.

A self-hating Memphis fan? Now I've seen it all!!
The American is the Big East football conference.... same bylaws, bank accounts, commissioner, a lot of the same staff, same offices, same officials/refs.... Changed name, same entity!

Didn't FedEx begged the Big East to include Memphis as a member? even going as far as paying the Big east 10 million a year for 10 years or some sort

must have! I read it on the internets
What I remember is the arrogance of the remaining members when the CUSA schools & Temple joined. UCF wins a BCS bowl in the first year of the AAC and now Memphis, Houston and Temple are running ****. Its very satisfying.

Of course hes not. Theyre ranked and undefeated. Props to Memphis for it.

Dont feed it, thats what it wants.
Heres the difference. The newbies in this conference love to talk like they are amazing but the simple truth is you have almost zero history to support this. Am I impressed with what Memphis is doing the last two season, you bet. Its amazing. Was UCF winning a Fiesta bowl a good thing, absolutely. It added a ton of credibility. Temples rise is unexpected, but I was actual a vocal proponent of adding them.

Heres the rub. Now you will get to face the issues that the Big East had. I seriously doubt Memphis and Temple will have the same coaches within a year. Cincinatti in the last 10 years has only had 1 season where they didnt get at least 8 wins. Uconn has won two basktball national championships, and even more womens bball championships during that time. Cincis basketball has made the ncaa tournament almost every year for the past decade..... thats a level of consistancy that none of the newcommers can claim.

So now a few of you have risen up and are doing amazingly well, which is outstanding.... but what happens when your coach leaves. Can you be cinci? They lost Dantonio, who is considered one of the best coaches in the NCAA, then they got Kelly, who is also one of the best, then they went to Jones..... and kept winning.

The real question and proof that is needed is coming. For all the saber rattling of the new teams to the "old big east" the truth is that your one or two year up tick doesnt mean a damn thing and being arrogant about it only shows that you havent been here before. You have yet to be able to sustain success and until you do, I find it hillarious that you try to bash the very teams that made the foundation of the conference. You really think there would have been an American Conference without Cinci and Uconn?
If Louisville and Cinci had gone to the Big 12 and Uconn to the ACC, every one of you would be in CUSA (or MAC). Its mind boggling how quickly some of you go from being a joke to having a good year and become ridiculously arrogant without even thinking about the history or considering that 1-2 years doesnt prove crap... ask UCF. They are the poster child for what happens.
What will your tune be if you coach is hired away and next year you miss even making a bowl.... cause Cinci hasnt had that happen but ONCE in their last three coaching changes. Say what you will, they may not be at their absolute peak right now, but Id take a decade of 8-10 win seasons over 2 years of doing pretty well and being damn near last place all the rest.

Actually, Id give my left ball just to get back to making bowls. Cinci and Uconn are the foundation of this conference. Remember, there is exactly ONE team in this conference with national championships earned in this decade.

How many of these "newbies" are doing that? You spit a whole book out talking about said programs replying to 1 guy lol?

Show me 1 Old Big East team that has been in the American longer than the teams you're talking about. Also, a USF fan talking about History? You guys got the invite because of where you're located and the Big East losing Miami. Don't act like you earned anything...
