Good news:

-Stage III approval (architectural design) of the Nursing School addition/renovation
-Gift from Regions to establish the Regions Institute for Financial Education and the build-out of a suite in the business building to house the institute
-Gift from Vulcan Materials to name the academic success center

Bad news:

-Still no movement on athletic facilities

Also no official movement on PBJ's replacement.

Bryant Bank with another gift to UAH... PBJ and Bryant Bank have really taken UAH under their wing.

Won't be long until UAH gets the Ned Beatty treatment from Deliverance.

BOT realizes you can pay off those at UAH.

It might also be a case of "divide and conquer" designed to separate UAB and UAH in their mutual desire to be more independent from the control of the Tuscaloosa centric BOT.

Maybe this is what the Huntsville legislative delegation was promised if they would vote against Jabo Wagger's anti-BOT legislative proposals. They were very supportive and then over night they weren't. Someone got to them with something.
