Word in Georgia is after this season Richt is gone and they are coming after Fuente....Now that is not good.....That is more of his dream job....The World Is Ours Memphis....
Oh snap.
That's the shoe I was afraid would drop.

I am a little more worried about it this year then I would have been last year. The success of Mc(whatever the rest of his name is) at Florida after a short stint at Colorado State makes me feel like Georgia will be more willing to take a chance on someone like Fuente.
Poor Richt.

He has always been bitten by the injury bug.
I could imagine Georgia being a dream job for someone.

I'll also say that Charlie Strong may be back on the hotseat after being shut-out at Iowa State, as unfair as that may be.
If Fuente gets a new job making more money and wants to leave we should throw him parade, shake his hand, thank him and wish him well
Injury bug or not, Georgia is pretty fed up right about now....The World Is Ours Memphis....
RUT-RO. It would be hard not to listen to Georgia. Well, we will worry about it later and enjoy this season while we have it.

As sad as it would make me...I agree with your post.
Right now Our Leaders guys in charge are working on what it will take for them to keep Fuente here...They have also put a backup kinda list together and names of guys to maybe target for interviews if it comes to that.....But again Coach General Justin Fuente and His Family Love Memphis....And the list of names being discussed should we need to go there are Barry Odom, Sonny Cumbie, Kendal Briles, Brad Cornelson, Lane Kiffen.....But right now Coach General Justin Fuente, Our staff, Our team is Focused.....The World Is Ours Memphis.....
Georgia is a helluva job.

No to Lane Kiffin...They guy can coach, but has ZERO loyalty.

Exactly. If he does leave, I'll continue to wish him well and root him on. The guy has done some amazing things here. But, I'm still holding out hope that he signs a lifetime contract with us this offseason (don't ruin my dreams!)
Coach Fuente is said to be allergic to dog hair. I heard that from my sister's interior decorator. He is married to a girl that once dated a dermatologist who had spent a night at Holiday Inn Express.

Anyway, I suspect that there is no way he would be around that mangy Bulldog.
I think Coach Fuente would leave with class so I would cheer for him at wherever he ends up at. If we make the playoffs I don't think he will leave though.
Word in UGA as in UGA fans? If not fans then this "news" would be circulating everywhere. Some UGA fans have been calling for his head the past few seasons. I think it would be more like Richt resigning rather than being fired. Most people love that man so much for what all he has done at UGA even though he hasn't produced a national championship. Absolute stand-up guy. Having said that, if he does end up leaving UGA it would be a sure spot than would be hard to pass up for ANYONE. There is so much talent in Georgia and IMO one of the best jobs out there. Let's just hope it does not come open. Agree with Shere though, whenever he leaves we should make a big deal out of it and really show him our gratitude for all he has brought to this city.

Right, he would have one foot of campus as soon as he stepped foot on campus... I realize Memphis is a "stepping stone" job, but I have no faith someone like Kiffin would be completely committed to the job like Fuente has been. No thanks on him.
