Pay Per View.

We could raise enough bucks to boost our crappy TV revenue.

He wouldn't stand a chance. I have scoreboard and series on him

Maybe we can let him stand in for Houston in a couple of weeks, since they don't have very good trash talkers on their own.

This is probably the most absurd post I've seen from you yet tripleA... very unlike you.

Dude, it's a joke. Do I have to put a laughing icon on every post where I'm joking? I could have sworn that one was pretty obvious.

Of course, there's a grain of truth in every joke. The fans you have who do trash talk aren't that great at it. Of course, neither are we about football. We're kinda new to it. 03-lmfao

Better?

WTF are you talking about... And here I thought you made some great points.

Should be fun. Tough for us it's at Houston...

Tigers fans have their views as why they think could beat Houston

Here are my views

Last season Houston beat Memphis with a immature no experience QB Ward

Last season Memphis had a much better defense but our inexperience QB grew a little more in that game and simply took over the game and came away with a W.

Last season Houston beat Memphis with a over his head head coach

Last season Houston defeated Memphis AT Memphis

This season Houston's QB is much improved

This season Houston's DEFENSE is twice as better

This season Houston has a coaching staff that know how to prepare their young men.

This season Houston plays at home behind our crowd.

I think most of the advantages favor Houston in this game and why I believe Houston beats Memphis... but again, these are just my views.

Houston 31
Memphis 24

You're not factoring in how well Lynch is playing this year as opposed to last....top QB in the nation IMO.

I know Lynch has improved quite a bit but so has Houston... And I mean everywhere coaching staff offense defense, everything almost.

Yes, going to be a good game.

While Lynch is playing better, I think people are selling his receivers short. Those guys are going out there and making great catches time after time.

You're absolutely correct, the receivers have stepped up their game another notch too.

Houston's secondary however is one of the best in the country, always hungry for interceptions, are extremely strong and good at striping the ball.

Here hope these two teams remain undefeated come Nov 14th

Wait. The 99th Pass Defense is one of the best secondaries in the country? I understand getting turnovers, but there's something amiss there. Houston's had 9 Interceptions on Defense...Memphis has 7...

So the gap there in terms of turnovers isn't huge. And yardage difference given up is about a little over 500 more given up by Memphis' secondary. 1846 vs 2395.

And last year, Memphis turned the ball over 5 times in that game, where Lynch threw three interceptions. Don't expect that to happen again.

This year, Lynch is playing much smarter and the receivers have been amazing. I doubt the 99th Pass Defense is going to be that more difficult than 86th Pass Defense Ole Miss. Just my opinion.

And if Houston's defense is "twice better" than it was last year, it must be only for the rushing game, because the secondary is pretty lackluster via ESPN statistics. Better than Memphis'? Sure. And Houston has only faced a top ten offense in Tulsa.

All in all, I hope both teams do remain undefeated going into Houston. I expect Houston to get a 10 point lead, and then Memphis will tear it apart. Seems to be our way of handling big games this year lol.

Led by Gary Ward?

Maybe they'll remember his name after the game...

Houston by 3 scores!
ha!

Well we had Jason Fuente on ESPN once.

Negative.

He had the 3 ints last year against Houston or we would have won 42 -14 instead of losing 28-24 and costing us the AAC championship out right.

He is much much better this year. Hide and watch.
