I'm on vacation In Mexico sporting my Tiger hat at the pool and drinking out-of my Tiger cup. People recognize the logo and randomly say things like "Hey you guys are having a great year".

The most easily recognizable logo in college sports.
And there's always some who want to do away with it.

Nice to be in D.C. last weekend and a guy was talking about how many points we put up on the board each week.

I love our logo.

I like the logo, but it's badly dated. People do know us, and they are on the Paxton Lynch bandwagon.

Seriously. There's nothing dated about it.
It's an outstanding logo.
It's a seriously cool logo.
The only thing outdated is your attitude.
People have been trying to do away with it for 15-20 years.
So-attempt outdated.

Those that want to do away with it are usually marketing/design people that see a way to make some bucks. Is that you?

We should change it when they come up with the hologram logos in the future. It might frighten small children when the Tiger hologram leaps off the helmet toward them.

People don't want to do away with it. They want to tweak the tiger some so it doesn't look like a stuffed animal at a carnival.

Our logo is not the most recognizable logo in college sports.

Most people I run into do not know our logo very well. If anything, I get mistaken for an MTSU fan more often than I care to mention. Bugs the heck out of me.

I will say that my friends and coworkers who see me wearing my polo shirts or jackets always give me a thumbs up and offer praise for our successful football season. That certainly feels good.

Yeah, I would hazzard a guess that Notre Dame's leprechaun and Florida's gator are somewhat more recognizable.

That said, I do like our logo. Was wearing my sweatshirt on my flight from Nashville back to Philadelphia this past weekend and got comments at both airports.

I love the leaping M logo, but it is NOWHERE near the most recognizable logo in college sports.

I actually liked the Cal Bears logo redesign from a year or two ago...seemed like a good modern refresh. I think the current Tiger logo is fine but definitely has that "classic" look as opposed to anything cutting edge. If we don't have the "classic" football legacy of a Notre Dame, Ohio St, Texas, etc, I could see a more modern refresh being appropriate and cool for recruits.

No, we aren't even close to the most recognized logo. Longhorns and Razorbacks just to name a few.

My only beef with the jumping Tiger logo is that I have never had a cap that they can center the dang thing. I wouldn't say it's outdated but it may be due for some tweaking.

I do hope our logo stays the same for a very long time. I really hope we don't rebrand the primary logo.

But the thing that I wish was rebranded is the fonts used.



Are you serious with that? I can't stand that. I actually don't buy ANYTHING that has that script on it. It's almost as bad as the "head-only" logo.
