Tomorrow...

WMU football game Thursday

When will students study? 03-lmfao
Seriously, first chance to see Toney, Mangum, Thompson, Stone, etc.

Anyone know if Madray will play? I assume he can even as a transfer sitout.
In past years I believe transfers did partake in all Rock the Rec events.

Rock the Rec is a great event. I'd really encourage any who can go to go. The atmosphere is always great, and you'll never get another chance to get that close to a legitimate dunk contest.

Agree, with Frank.

I saw a Midnight Madness back in the 90s and I 'discovered' Boykins, Dial, etc.

We have a lot of very good newcomers and attendees will be able to see first hand what they can do.

I have this thing about new recruits:

Before they get on campus we read Scout, Rivals, newspapers, etc.

Then when they get on campus we get the chance to see them in this kind of event.

Then next month, it will be actual performance in games and press clips can be filed in some drawer.
Today is "event day". I was going to say "game day" but that would be a stretch.
Anyone have any observations? Anyone go?

According to Twitter: Bond won the dunk contest. Lee looked ready
Not surprised Tim defended has dunk title. Kid's got hops. And yes, I hear Ray looked like he was in midsession form (well, as much as you can be for a scrimmage). He won the three-point contest.
BTW, looking at the team photo.

Lot of good height with Nobles, Thompson and Madray.

All look legit as big men. A year from now we will be very tall (adding Madray and LWH).
