Not a chance
Larry Porter. 07-coffee3
Is anybody surprised? That's about as big a drive off a high cliff that I've ever seen. USM proportions.
It was time. I'm just glad Key isn't interim coach.
Why would a coach step down 2/3rds of the way through the season? Good gosh, finish what you started and then step down. Or was he forced to do it?
butch davis...i honestly think ucf is the type to hire him...olearly is a butch davis kind of hire
Greg Schiano?
They could hire Malzahn after he gets canned

He's not leaving Texas anytime soon now. Town has completely rallied around him.
We beat the career out of him.
Sucks it went down like this, but it was time for a change. The year to year thing would have been more killer. I thank him for all of the good things the team accomplished. I'm not exactly excited, but it was time. I am very excited, though, that Brent Key isn't the interim and likely will no longer sniff the UCF HC job.
Butch Davis would be a great hire
Send George over to Tulane to replace CJ Johnson.
81-68 in 11 1/2 seasons, and THAT is what UCF millennials have been bragging about all this time, right up to this season?

Heck, before the past 2 seasons, they were barely above .500 with O'Leary.
No truth to the rumor the local "free beer" bar contributed six figures to the retirement package.

they need some one new from the outside. First have to hire an AD and let him hire his own man. Hopefully this will be a quick turn around and not a collapse into 05-bump a never ending hole full of coaches playing chairs.
