Why would a coach step down 2/3rds of the way through the season? Good gosh, finish what you started and then step down. Or was he forced to do it?

Sucks it went down like this, but it was time for a change. The year to year thing would have been more killer. I thank him for all of the good things the team accomplished. I'm not exactly excited, but it was time. I am very excited, though, that Brent Key isn't the interim and likely will no longer sniff the UCF HC job.

they need some one new from the outside. First have to hire an AD and let him hire his own man. Hopefully this will be a quick turn around and not a collapse into
a never ending hole full of coaches playing chairs.
