Toledo's next four games, N. Illinois, @ CMU, @ BG and Western Michigan feature opponents with a combined 13-2 record in MAC games.

How will the Rockets fare in this November test?

4-0
3-1
2-2
1-3
0-4
I say 3-1.

I have a question for you Toledo fans... If you had to lose a game between BGSU and NIU, who would you want to ruin your perfect season?

Well it certainly wouldn't be to BGSUCKs. I guess it would have to be the non-conference team you mentioned. Is that Northern Iowa?

Easiest question ever: NIU. As for our record, I go back to my previous stand: we really haven't played anybody but the State of Arkansas and they ain't much. Bag has played Memphis tough and, like us, is beating up on the patsies. NIU seems to be improving as they go. WMU should concern me, but don't and CMU is on the road and inconsistent, but I say we beat them. I'll go for 3-1 with the loss to BG or CMU (yeah, I know what I said but I don't trust me).
Sorry man, I can't even venture to predict these games right now! If they can stay healthy and keep working hard each week, as we have seen thus far, there isn't a team listed that they can't beat. None are of these games are any easier than the rest IMHO. At home, it won't be easy by any stretch (NIU, WMU), and on the road it's gonna be tough to come out with 2 W's (@CMU,@BG). But, this team can do it if they stay focused.

Let's beat NIU and then talk about the next Tuesday game. Go Rockets! 04-rock Beat NIU 04-chairshot 04-rock

I would rather lose you guys. But, this year, I want to finally win both!

If you beat us, I will be rooting for you to run the table. I hope the weather is good for our game and you have a packed house. Wish it was on a Saturday afternoon, but that's another issue. You will have our best offense of the year coming in, but our D is not as stout as beginning of year. Probably some has to do with going back to our uptempo offense. Defense is tired in 2nd half. I am very interested to see how our O plays against your D.

Good luck and here's hoping it's a good game! 04-cheers

BG is no doubt the best team we have left... Or I can say that now. They play WMU the week before to show us who the better squad is. But BG is at the Doyt so that will be a bear of a game.

NIU lost to CMU so you could make a poor argument that NIU is the worst of the 4. I'd assume this game means the most to our team though looking at recent history.

I'd hate to lose but would rather lose to BG and meet em again in the MACC. They could jump us and get ranked. We could re jump them and get ranked again. They're going to be getting votes now.

As much it pains me to say this...Bowling Green. Only because Toledo would hold the tie breaker against NI-WHO and we could avenge the rivalry game loss with a MAC Championship.

That's what I was thinking. It would hurt worse to lose to your rival, but you could take care of that a couple of weeks later in a more important game.
And I don't think you'll have trouble against CMU, we usually play our worst MAC game of the year against them and this year was no different. We lost 3 of 6 fumbles and they didn't have any. We also had 85 yds of penalties and they had 1 for 5. We had more total yards, but just gave the game away in the 3rd qtr.
I think this bye week will be huge for this team. It's the perfect mini break to help them refocus for this really difficult stretch run.

I think the sequence/order of the games left is favorable as well...
NIU: At home, payback game, the guys will be amped!
CMU: Road is always tough, but they are beatable. I see the #JusticeLeague going off.
bgSUCKS: This will be nuts. What UMASS was able to do passing has me even more worried. However, Memphis won there, and UT should be able to score on them. BG will get "Fat" on crappy MAC East teams, read too many favorable press clipping from the blah, and UT will prevail.
WMU: Last game, at home, win and go undefeated. Get some!

I say they go 4-0

There is no bye week. The next game only 3 days later than usual.
A bye week is when there is no game "at all" for 2 weeks.
under your definition of a bye week, Toledo would have 4 weeks because the games are not played on Saturdays.

Technically, they consider it a bye week. The next couple wouldn't be considered a bye since they are 7 days later.

Correct. This week is technically a bye as far as polling and how the "college football week" is concerned because Tuesday is considered the start of the following week's games. A little more rest, but not too much. That is the perfect amount of rest and prep to get at this juncture and with a home game coming up. Go Rockets!
