I don't think so. I just think they are very under talented, inexperienced, and injured on defense. When is the last time a defensive lineman made a play?

They usually do this time of year.

I didn't see it, we are just that bad.

The defense has sucked all season. It's not like we've seen them suddenly get worse.

You outplayed us in the 2nd half and we left many of our starters in until the last series. I didn't see any quit. Being down 35-0 would take the fight out of most teams. But once you had some success on offense and defense in the 2nd half, your team looked very aggressive and ready to play.

Our offense didn't click for the first half for whatever reasons and that always puts more pressure on a weak defense.

Yes the first half was atrocious, but the second half showed no quit.

Yes the first half was atrocious, but the second half showed no quit.

It is really hard for a team to come out with the same intensity for the second half when you are up 35-0...in fact, hardly anyone gets to experience being up 35-0 on anyone at halftime. I wouldn't put too much stock in the second half, NIU stopped playing mentally.

You can't litter negativity everywhere and then wonder why your life is coming up trashy.
