With a 5-0 victory over Little Rock tonight, South Alabama is all alone in first place. It is looking very possible that with a win over Ark State and a good performance in the SBC tourney, we may host in the NCAA's.
SBC tournament moved due to rain (system that passed through TX last week.)

Due to the tremendous amount of rain that has fallen in the Atlanta area, Georgia State will not host the Women's Soccer Championship.

We will continue to monitor the field in Panthersville for a possible move back later in the week we have secured a facility in Emerson.

The facility that we will now conduct the championship tournament is the Lake Point Sporting Community located in Emerson, Ga.

Game times & match-ups will remain the same. For directions and more information on the facility:

Emerson has a bunch of nice complexes out there. When Jonesboro got that gigantic snow storm last February our baseball team went out to Emerson and played a series at the Perfect Game complex nearby. Coaches came back raving about the quality of the fields.

Can anyone beat South Alabama?

TXST lost to them 2-1. The gals will give it their best shot (see what I did there?)

We've played some close ones in conference play. We went into double overtime twice against the Louisianas and had a couple 1 goal wins, including against GS. Our girls know how to finish. If we are tied or down with 10-15 minutes left, it's like an avalanche on the other teams goal. We can attack from any position.

Sure they can. But no one has done it the past two seasons.
It would be an upset if South Al doesn't t win. I would assume an at-large bid may be forthcoming if needed though

I think the only way USA doesn't win is if one of their matches has to go to Penalty Kicks, which are a crap shoot.
#4 seed App State beats #5 seed UALR 2-1 to advance to the semifinals.

I'm glad the Cajuns were able to keep that to a 6 goal game...

USA set a record for largest margin of victory ever in the Sun Belt Tournanent. I guess in a way Louisiana Lafayette set a record too, for largest margin of defeat in the Sun Belt Tournament.
