I have noticed that all the home games we have played the attendance is 20,118. Is that due to the game is sold out or are they actually recording the attendance for the game.

Just curious because I watched the App State game on TV (for as long as I could). And I know there was not 20k there. But still seemed like a really good turnout considering it was pouring down rain. 04-rock
Tickets sold.
Do all college teams report the number of tickets sold or the people at the game in their attendance figures?
I don't know. Sorry.

I believe it is up to their discretion. I have heard that many FCS teams will report tickets sold for regular season attendance, and during the playoffs, when the NCAA takes a cut, they report actual butts in the seats.
18,000 in the stadium. 2,118 drinking their faces off behind the south end zone.

You told that thing right.
Every school reports tickets sold for each game for attendance figures.
With tonight's loss the Sellout streak is in major jeopardy!
Let's see how the administration responds to this and gets tickets sold.
Maybe we can promote it as
"Come see if Brad Doughty can throw for 500yds against us!"
Creativity will definitely be needed. If we sell out the Halloween game it will be a feat. Sellout-positive would be the fans rallying around the team out of blind faith or something storybook like that. Sellout-negative would be a whole lot of vacationing WKU fans in the stands.

I am sure Wood is going to make every game a sellout on paper. I have questioned a few games over the years where I see empty seats at the top of the end zone sections or the away sections bare. Wood has stated the seats were bought and people dont show up for them seats. YEA RIGHT! I dont see non season ticket holders buying seats and not showing up. No way a couple 100 seats not showing up a week before they buy their tickets.

Wood must have a ton of ghostly friends at them games.
