2015-16 BlazerTalk Tailgates

Sunday 11/22/15 — Jax State (4PM Tip) — Doing the Funky Chicken — bbq chicken wings (Lunch • 2PM)
Sunday 1/3/16 — Middle Tennessee (2PM Tip) - Riding the Raiders Out of Town - bbq sausage kabobs (Lunch • Noon)
Saturday 1/9/16 — UTEP (1PM Tip) — Round 'Em Up — Taco Rollups (Brunch • Noon)
Saturday 1/23/16 — North Texas (7PM Tip) — Texas Two Steppin' - BBQ brisket ($) (Dinner • 5PM)
Saturday 2/6/16 — FAU (7PM Tip) — FAUWL Owls — Teriyaki chicken kebabs (Dinner • 5PM)
Saturday 2/27/16 — Western Kentucky (11AM Tip) — Breakfast at the Bart — Hash Brown Nests (Breakfast • 9AM)

Notes:
• We plan to set up on the 14th Street side of the Bartow Arena lawn.

• Plan on eating 1½-2 hours before tip.

• Blazerwkr plans to get set up 3-4 hours before tip.

• ($) The North Texas tailgate will be our annual "big" event with a special main course. We will be accepting donations to cover the cost of the meat for this tailgate.

• If you can come to a tailgate, but find you are unable to bring something to contribute to the meal, we do request a $5 per person donation to help cover expenses.

• Sign-up threads will be posted two weeks prior to each tailgate.

Times & Entrees subject to change.

For those who may not be able to attend games but still want to "support the cause", how can they contribute toward the expenses of the offerings?

I'm not sure, we haven't discussed that. We'll let you know.

Around noon.

Shouldn't the timetable for the UTEP tailgate actually be 11 AM Brunch? 12 PM is really too close to game time for a 1 PM tip...

And no mention of beer, etc., so I'm assuming these are all non-alcoholic...

Normally I should be the first some other tailgate crews might be out there as well like Greenhouse Gang etc. We all setup around each other but I should be the first of our group & have a white EZ Up canopy - should be easy to spot out in front of Bartow

No, there's beer around but still kid friendly G rated. Beer is more byob than we buy it for all to drink. You can bring some & others will bring some & there'll be coolers for it. I mostly do water/cokes but do partake on the occasion when I have time to settle down to enjoy a cold one

As was stated in the original post, times are subject to change.

What about us doing something down at Troy?? I realize its a Thursday night game, but it would be great if we had a decent contingent heading down there. A bus would be perfect.

They shut down that good BBQ place so I'm at a loss. Yea let's meet up for an early dinner!
