Interesting quote from the article: "the record shows only two UMass games at the stadium have drawn more than 30,000 fans"

Actually in the MAC these days 30,000 is spectacular, even if it is in a pro stadium far from campus (of course the UT "home" game against tOSU was a wonderful anomaly as far as attendance goes).

I guess the media does not understand life in the MAC and perhaps because UMass is the state flagship university they are measuring UMass against the likes of Penn State or Maryland rather than Ball State or Kent.

Who did they play? I suspect maybe a BC or Penn State would have results similar to our Cleveland home game in that the draw would be the "visitors".
One of the 30,000 games was against BC. The other was against New Hampshire.
