That's about dead on. Tech has a much better offense than we do. I think we have a better defense. I'll give the edge to Tech.

Really, Rice is still considered a test?

Yes. Rice is getting better and play tough at home. They aren't nearly as bad as the score of the WKU game.

And USM is 4-3 and Rice is 3-3...So yes, a test.

Actually Southern Miss is 4-3...not that it really matters. Hopefully we will be 6-3 when we play Rice on Nov. 14th!!

I would call that fairly accurate. Marshall and Tech are twins. USM faltered but not enough for anyone to really catch up.

2. Marshall-congrats Marshall you have passed La. Tech in my rankings

3. La. Tech-not saying it will happen, but just a feeling La. Tech is going to falter down the stretch as they are kind of hanging by a thread right now from losing their grip on West.

4. Southern Miss-has a good chance overtaking La. Tech imo

5. MTSU-Solid offense, looks like they tried to get the run established last week and got it done

6. FIU-has to be a little disappointing for their defense last time out

7. Rice-can sneak up on some teams

Maybe next season:
8. UTSA-if you had Marshalls non conference schedule and or normal schedule you would be bowling this season


9-13-FAU, ODU, Charlotte, UTEP, North Texas-all pretty much interchangeable at this point, build for next season

not arguing with your rankings but ODU is still playing for this year. At 3-3 with 3 games remaining against squads you think should be building for next season means bowl eligibility is not completely out of the question.

"Play tough at home?" Man, WKU made them look like a high school team. If they're middle of the pack, CUSA is AWFUL this year.

Wouldn't it be something if ODU gets a bid to a bowl?! Hope it happens.
