I say 7-5 record at the end. Loss @ Houston, and a loss to either ECU or USF. Pretty pathetic considering the expectations. This is almost worse than the CUSA Minter days.
Until UC gets a defense it's always going to be this way. Some of the young players show promise but they need a coach that isn't afraid to blitz once in a while.
I predict everyone will overreact to everything and Tuberville will be public enemy #1 for another few years. Ho hum.

Vegas had the O/U at 7.5. So that's a fair guess. My guess is it's right on the money. There is no way we should lose to UConn, UCF or Tulsa at home. It will be interesting to see if we're favored in any of the road games. 7-5 to 9-3 really makes no difference. We'll go to the same crappy bowl.
Who cares

And THAT, my friend, is the biggest problem Tubbs has wrought upon this program.
Perhaps Tommy Quiterville should just quit on the season like he quit on the game. What he did was EMBARRASSING!

Couldn't agree more. That's the kind of nonsense that's inexcusable in my book. I can't even imagine what it's like to be in the locker room with him after that game.

I hope so
Is Minter avail?
To quote Hillary "At this point what difference does it make!"

6-6,7-5,8-4, 9-3

They all mean a trip to a Toilet Bowl where Tommy Quiterville craps his pants.

Don't count on beating UConn who played BYU closer than we did and they did not quit.
Join me in telling our AD how we feel about Tommy Quiterville giving up. Here is the email:

Him throwing in the towel in the fourth is the least of the problems as far as I'm concerned. It looked like the entire team quit well before then anyway.

I agree. But I think it's a pretty obvious indicator where th add t attitude has come from. As s I said in the other thread, there is no way Urban Meyer would do some chicken sh#t like that. He is way too hyper-competetive. That attitude spreads.
We are good when El Jefe is into it. We are just average to meh otherwise. Sadly, we are more average to meh than not. Again.
With all the money being spent on the facilities you're telling me they cant find an extra one or two million a year somewhere to hire a coach and make a splash in the national headlines to try and get into a better conference. get noticed and show you are serious about competing at the highest level.

enough of the minor league nonsense in the athletic department and ucats.
Kind of being tongue and cheek here, with a little bit of seriousness. Remember when CBJ left and some suggested Kerry Coombs as a replacement? I know it seemed laughable at the time, but knowing what we know now on how Tubs is half asleep and he and his teams show no fire, and everyone now wanting an "up and comer". Does that idea still seem so far fetched?

Prior to the game today my daughter told me that she and a couple of friends intentionally got out in dodge ball because their team was overmatched. I told her that this was poor character for giving up on her team for that reason. How ironic.

I would take him in a heartbeat as a special teams coach.
I guess the key to getting a 100 percent from Tommy and by extension the team is to get his former employers on the schedule. Someone needs to get on the phone with Miami, Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas Tech etc... BTW tongue in cheek.
