and Illinois. WTH do they expect.

#1 Pitt lost to Notre DAME, they have a new coach that helped lead an NFL dynasty, and they are still friggen Notre Dame you know they have some elite players.

#2 5 year old USF lost to Penn State in happy valley by 10. They are still Penn State they have some good players, a legend coach and 100,000 fans. How is that devestating?

#3 Rutgers lost to a Big 10 team on the road in OVER TIME. This is Rutgers.

They need to Chill out geez all the doom and gloom. Regardless of how they write off Notre Dame and Penn State each one of them has more history than the whole Big East combined, and are still stable programs with 10's of thousands of fans and some very elite players and great coahces. You will probably see in the top 10-20 this season.

Still it is funny to watch  They really need to get a grip though.
The Big Least "FLagship" program plays lowly Kentucky today & will restore honor to the once proud league of ordinary teams.
Well, at least the BL is guaranteed a win in the 1:30 P.M. kickoff game today between WVwho and Syracuse. 03-wink

The pillowfight ends in 4 days when they just give up with a 2-2 tie :D
The real meltdown is coming when ECU takes out WVU on the mountain in front of an already sold out staduim. I believe the first game to sell out for WVU this season. Go Pirates give'm something to write about!

I'll definitely be a Pirate fan for a day.

Third. Louisville and VPI sold out before the ECU game.
I wonder if we get through one football weekend without a Big East post on this board.

:bang: :bang: :bang:
I was going on a press lease I read a week or so ago. I will try to locate the link. WVU has great fans and I glad the game is sold out considering we are not in your conference and approximately a 9 hour drive Greenville if my memory is correct. I drove from Charlotte for the last game in Morgantown. Go Pirates!

DITTO TO THAT ... 04-cheers . IT GET'S A LITTLE OLD.
I can't blame them. I'm watching Cuse/WVU now and it's simply painful.
If you're watching WVU/SU, you know why they're in meltdown mode.

They have one good team, and we'll see if they actually show up today- UL.
holy ******!! I'm going to agree with Knight Time. Time for me to go bathe.
ECU @ WVU is a sellout? Can I still get tix through the Pirate Club? I am trying to go.
I've heard that if you donate a couch you can get 2 tickets, 2 hot dogs, and 2 beers.
^^^ As luck would have it, I got a spare one 03-wink
And that meltdown is about to get worse if Kentucky wins today!!! 04-drinky
Even if UL holds on...they're not playing #3 Tennessee, they aren't even playing South Carolina.

It's pretty obvious that the best team in the Big East is equal to the worst team in the SEC.

Two things became clear this weekend.

C-USA > Big East
Sun Belt > MAC

And you really need to stop starting BE threads on the CUSA Main Board.
As long as we are hating on 'em.... let it roll 04-rock
