"Just as the Houston Astros are making their first post-season appearance in a decade, one of the franchise's all-time top players has made an ad blasting the city's mayor over a proposal headed for the November ballot that would allow transgender people to use the public restroom of their choice."

He doesn't live in Houston.

He had no problem moving his kids to a city that had this type of law because they were paying him $$$$

I've seen the ads. They show transgendered persons as threats that will cause their kids to be violently assaulted in public bathrooms. Saw an ad just this morning.

but no link? The ones that I've seen never mentioned the word "transgered", even the ones on the radio.

I know, it's crazy to not want someone wielding a dick and balls to piss in the same bathroom as a 4-year old little girl. Not to mention that this he-she, in all likelihood, is mentally deranged.

Surely, you would have no problem with this either I assume.
"Oh yes, I have absolutely no qualms about letting 4-year old little Lisa utilize the same bathroom as a 37-year old who was born a man, complete with a set of twig and berries, but at the same time is so mentally deranged as to physically defile his own body as much as artificially possible in effort to kind-of look like a woman. Anyone who has a problem with this is a hateful bigot and should be strung up and quartered in the town square."

Impossible to have a normal conversation with the Gay/Tranny Mafia.

Gee whiz..calling someone mentally deranged, simply because they are transgendered, is hateful and is opposed by every reputable psychological organization on Planet Earth. To insult their looks is also hateful. And was deliberate on your part.

Actually, Lance wants it to be required for a POST OP Transgendered f to m to use the bathroom with his daughter. They go by 'physical gender assigned at birth'. So does the Texas GOP. And every supporter of discrimination.

By the way, I'd call that posting pretty hateful and extremely bigoted.

Of course they don't used the word 'Transgendered'. That would involve admitting that transgendered persons are human. Freaks, deviants, would be the words to be used by the Berkman/Second Baptist side. The man in the bathroom ad is of course transgendered. Its obvious from the ad. Because they want to stop transgendered persons accessing a restroom without public humiliation while engaging in commerce.

Bwahaha

Geezus you're a loon
Haven't we already done this topic?

Tom thinks the rare transgender person feeling comfortable outweighs the rights of privacy of the tens of thousands of people who aren't and anyone who doesn't agree is a bigot and if you live in a suburb of Houston you should keep your mouth shut about Houston ordinances even if you work or shop in Houston.

There. Done.

Rights of minorities are always going to have to be protected from majority opinion. That's why they are called RIGHTS and not privileges.

There's no privacy concern here. Not only have these laws never been used to avoid exposure, spying, or assault in a restroom in the hundreds of places its been on the books, but Houston's municipal code specfically criminalizes spying in restrooms, assault, and exposure. This bill has nothing to do with it. Any opposition to it is based upon ignorance, bigotry, or some combination of the two.

If you are living in some 'bespoke city' that exists for the express purpose of avoiding paying for the city you live off of, well then, yes, your concerns aren't as valid as someone who actually doesn't try to avoid supporting that city.
Again, do the gays and trannys have a full list of what they deem "rights"

If so please share

Your word starting with T is a strong pejorative and is equivalent in level of offense to using the N-bomb to describe a person of African extraction.

The correct term is Transgender. You can also use Trans Person. By the way, Transgendered persons aren't drag queens either.

Next time you use the term, I will assume that you are simply trolling by using deeply offensive language and will put you on ignore. Its really 5th grade level to use that language. And you know it.

---

The same rights under the law that members of Second Baptist have. Protection from discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, health care, etc. Full equal treatment under the law.

You just offended blacks yes again.

You'll just have to be offended.

And no they aren't looking for the same rights AT ALL. So I guess you can't provide a list.

Houston was not making these kinds of laws in 1997 when the Astros drafted him

Not even close to what "Klan like hatred" looked like. Stop minimizing what African Americans in the south had to suffer with.
Let's see. One person can be uncomfortable, or few thousand. What is really the fair solution here?
