Seems to be a good pickup. It looks like he played DE and TE in high school.
Here are some videos from his 2015 Senior year in Friendswood, TX.
He has 3 years left, so he'll make up what will likely be a small sophomore class in 2017. That is a great pick up from a class balancing standpoint.
Of course, more importantly, it looks like he is a good player.

Wasn't it Vince Lombardi who said something like, "People try to find things in this game that don't exist. Football is just blocking and tackling." Always thought that quote was so true. Most of the good teams (in the NFL at least) are usually pretty good at those two things.
I think I heard it from Lombardi as "Football is blocking and tackling. Everything else is mythology."
Do those two things well, and every other thing you'd like to do gets easier.

Really it is true that all sports come down to basic fundamentals like the Lombardi quote(s) and the "Bull Durham" quote that baseball is simple- "You throw the ball, you hit the ball, you catch the ball". Without good line play, football has no All American QBs, RBs, WRs, LBs, DBs. These OL & DL folks are the ones who win the trophies, but most often not for themselves. A BB coach told my son's PAL team that in each game you dribble thousands of times, pass hundreds of times and shoot dozens of times. He made them practice accordingly. His name was Murrey Arnold.
Hopefully we can get the RB who visited with Robinson and Brunner.
