I strongly recommend UAB soccer to anyone and everyone. My son and I have started going since we have no American football games to attend and I could kick myself for not doing it sooner. The games are a lot of fun and incredibly exciting. I have truly become a soccer fan this year because of this team and will continue to be a fan long after American football returns :)
Is beer for sale there?
No. Is there beer for sale in Heritage Hall? Maybe more students would attend.

I was never really into soccer until I started watching UAB Men's Soccer over the past few years, and now I'm really into watching MLS and the national team.
Just 1 home match remains for the women & only 2 for the men.
As an aside, the Marching Blazers will be playing exhibitions at Jacksonville State and Pell City High School this Saturday.

These kids have been through the wringer as much as anybody save the football team, and their show is a wowser.
Never could get into soccer...

One less place you can stick me with your tab.

When does the pretty new stadium open?
It took me a while to really get into soccer even though I played it when I was younger. I didn't really start to appreciate it until I started keeping up with the women's national team. Women didn't seem to flop nearly as much as men, and their seemed to be more parity. After that, my interest in the women's game sparked an interest in watching the men's, then watching Premier League, etc.

I had a nice time relaxing after a study session and watching the girls beat Marshall in overtime the other night, but I haven't had a chance to watch that many games. I hope I'm not as busy when basketball starts.

I'm guessing the stadium will be ready for the spring season.

There is still an open tab my dad needs to pay. I keep telling them my dad's coming back... oh, and put this one on his tab, too. The wait staff is so trusting.
The Tailgate at the Mens Soccer game this past Saturday was fun. There was plenty of beer & also some 80 proof offerings along with our grilled burgers, conecuh sausages, beer brats & boudin.
